About us
T&T is a business consultancy. As part of what we do we started Tallyprice, a price comparison site for retail buyers, as a project of our own.
How we work
Product specifications come from the manufacturer's own documentation, and each product record keeps the link and the date it was read. When the manufacturer does not publish a figure, the record leaves it empty and says which one is missing. A gap is never filled with an estimate.
Verdicts are written and signed by a person, and they only discuss what is in the specification. When a verdict does arithmetic, it states the assumption first so you can redo it: if we say how long a fridge would run, we say what draw we assumed. We do not claim to have tested what we have not tested, and we do not give scores or stars.
Prices are shown with tax and shipping, with the time of the last check. An expired price is never shown as current, and a drop is only announced when it beats the lowest price of the previous 30 days.
Who is behind it
Tallyprice belongs to T&T Consulting Business, LLC, a company based in the United States. It is not a shop, it sells nothing and holds no stock: you always buy from the linked shop, and the contract, the warranty and any return are with that shop.
How we make money
From affiliate commissions. When you go to a shop from here and buy, the shop pays us a share; on offers that reach us through Kelkoo we are paid for the click, whether you buy or not. It costs you nothing extra. No shop pays to be listed first or higher. The details are in the affiliate disclosure.
How we compare
We only put two offers side by side when we know they are the same product: by EAN barcode, or by the exact brand and model code with a price that makes sense. Anything unclear is checked by a person before it goes live. The methodology page explains it step by step.
