Legal notice

Who publishes Tallyprice, under which company, where it is based, how the things you read here are made, and where to complain. It is the publisher information European law asks for, plus what you actually need in order to complain to the right party.

Who publishes this site

  • Tallyprice is published by T&T Consulting Business, LLC, registered office at 13575 58th St N, Suite 200, Clearwater, FL 33760, United States. It is a registered company, not a private individual, and it is the same company that holds our affiliate network accounts.
  • For legal matters, data protection and complaints: legal@tallyprice.com. A person reads it and answers.
  • For a wrong price, a figure on a product page that does not add up, or a broken link, write to affiliates@tallyprice.com instead. Same people, faster lane, because that one ends in a fix on the site.
  • The same company publishes both domains of this project, preciorama.com in Spanish and tallyprice.com in English. They share the catalogue and the code; what differs is the language and the price markets each one serves.

Representative in the European Union

  • Tudor Adriatic d.o.o., Zrinjsko-Frankopanska 62, 21000 Split, Croatia (OIB 58945974675, MBS 060502392) acts as our representative in the European Union under Article 27 of the General Data Protection Regulation.
  • What that means in practice: if you would rather deal with an address inside the Union than with a company based in the United States, you can write there about any data matter, and so can a supervisory authority.
  • What it does not mean: the representative is not the controller. T&T Consulting Business, LLC still decides what is stored and why, and both addresses reach the same file.

What this site is, and what it is not

  • Tallyprice is a price comparison site. It gathers product specifications, the prices shops publish, and a verdict written by a person, so that you can do the comparing with the figures in front of you.
  • We sell nothing. We hold no stock, take no payment, issue no invoices and handle no shipping or returns. Press an offer button and you leave for the shop, and the contract is formed there.
  • So the final price, the actual shipping cost, availability, the legal warranty, the right to cancel and after-sales service are the shop's, and the shop is who you claim from.
  • What is ours: that the price we show was the shop's published price at the time written beside it, that the specification says what the manufacturer says, and that the ranking is the one explained on the how we rank page.

How what you read is made

  • Specifications come from the manufacturer's own documentation. Every figure stores the literal line it came from, with that page's address and the date it was read, and an automated pass reopens those sources to check the line is still there.
  • When a manufacturer does not publish a figure, the record leaves it empty and says which one is missing. It is never filled in with an estimate of ours or with the figure from a similar model.
  • Verdicts are written and signed by a person, one by one. There are no scores out of five and no stars, and we do not claim to have tested what we have not tested.
  • When a verdict does arithmetic, the assumption is stated first so you can redo it. If we say how many hours an appliance would run, we say what draw we assumed.

Prices, expiry and discounts

  • We read each shop's prices again twice a day. Every offer carries an expiry, 26 hours by default, so that one failed read does not empty a product page; meanwhile it is shown with the time it was last checked. After the expiry it stops being shown, even if that leaves a product page with no price at all.
  • Out of stock offers are dropped too. Next to every offer table is the time of the last check, and that time is real.
  • A discount is only announced when the current price beats the lowest price of the previous thirty days, which is the reference European price-reduction rules require, and that figure is written beside it so you can check.
  • The price history on a product page is one we recorded ourselves from the day we started tracking that offer. It is not a number handed to us by a shop.

Content

  • Ours: the text, the verdicts, the guides, the selection and arrangement of the catalogue, the stated calculations and the database as a whole. They are protected by copyright and, where it applies, by the specific protection given to databases.
  • You may quote a figure, a sentence or a table of ours by saying it comes from Tallyprice and linking to the page it is on. No permission needed.
  • You may not extract the catalogue or a substantial part of it by automated means, rebuild the database elsewhere, or resell the data, with or without a link.
  • Product photographs, trade names and trade marks belong to their owners. They appear here to identify the product being discussed, which is a permitted use, and imply no relationship with the manufacturer and no endorsement.
  • Crawlers belonging to artificial intelligence systems are allowed through on purpose, and our robots.txt says so. The condition is the same as for anyone quoting us: if they repeat one of our figures, they repeat its date and its source too.

Links to other sites

  • Links go out to shops and to manufacturers' documentation. We do not control what is on the other side and we are not responsible for it.
  • Links to shops carry the sponsored nofollow mark, which is how a paid link is declared.
  • When we link a specification sheet we store the date we read it, because a manufacturer's page changes without notice.

Complaints

  • Write to legal@tallyprice.com. To let us act on it, include the exact address of the page, the time you saw it and, if you can, a screenshot.
  • We answer within one month of receiving a complaint, and sooner when it is a correction to the site.
  • If your complaint is about a purchase (it never arrived, it arrived broken, you are not getting a refund), the contract is with the shop and the shop answers for it. We still want to know: a shop that behaves that way stops being listed here.
  • If we sent you to a shop with a price different from the one we displayed, that one is ours, and it is exactly what we want to hear about.

Governing law

  • This notice is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States.
  • Nothing here limits the consumer rights that the mandatory law of your country of residence gives you, nor your right to bring a claim in the courts of your own domicile.
